129ページに　lottery scheduling という用語が出てくる。これについては、どうもふさわしい訳語が見つからない。誰か教えてください。このままだと「lottery スケジューリング」になりそうだけど、できれば避けたい。

98ページ、"Lock Manager Locks" の項目の中でどうもうまく解釈できない部分がある。

92ページ、最初のパラグラフの最後の部分：

意味はわかるのだけど、なんかこのままじゃいけないんじゃないかという気がするのです。

ch02: ☆☆☆as are の意味

22ページ、"The Kernel" の8行目あたりにこういう文章がある。

システムコールの詳細な仕組みについては、第3章で解説するが、【そこでは、プロセスが実行したシステムコールによる直接的な影響としてではなく行われる、いくつかのカーネル機能についても取り扱う】。

とりあえず、こう訳したが、恥ずかしながらこの "as are" がどういう意味で使われているのかさっぱりわからない。誰か教えてください。
